Step into a dynamic healthcare environment as a CT/PET Technologist, where advanced imaging technology plays a critical role in patient care. This contract opportunity offers an engaging work setting within a teaching hospital that features a Level 1 Trauma designation, Chest Pain Center, and Stroke Center status.
Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week
- Shift days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 9:00 am – 9:30 pm
- No call requirements
- Weekend rotation not required
- 75% of holidays worked, as needed during assignment
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of dedicated CT experience
- ARRT (CT) certification and current BLS required
- Proficient with starting IVs
- Experience handling inpatient, outpatient, and ER patient populations
- Previous travel experience preferred; first-time travelers not accepted
Responsibilities:
- Perform quality CT and PET imaging for a diverse patient population, ensuring accurate diagnostic outcomes
- Collaborate with medical staff in a fast-paced, inclusive department serving an average census of 100 patients daily
- Operate and troubleshoot Philips PACS, GE scanners, and document in the EPIC EMR system
- Maintain high safety standards, including proper patient preparation and equipment operation
- Adhere to established protocols, department guidelines, and patient privacy regulations
