CT Tech CT Technologist - Byron, GA

A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced CT Technologist skilled in advanced imaging procedures. This role plays a critical part in supporting timely and accurate diagnostic care for patients through high-quality CT imaging. The assignment runs Monday through Thursday, 9:00pm to 7:30am, providing a four-day workweek with three consecutive days off.

Key Qualifications:

• Certification and registration as a CT Technologist (ARRT-CT)
• Demonstrated competency in performing a variety of CT examinations independently
• Knowledge of CT imaging protocols, safety procedures, and contrast administration
• Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent communication abilities with patients and healthcare team
• CPR certification and up-to-date immunizations

Responsibilities:

• Obtain clear, accurate diagnostic images in accordance with provider orders and clinical protocols
• Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the procedure
• Evaluate images for technical quality and present results to radiologists as required
• Operate and maintain CT equipment, following all safety guidelines for radiation exposure
• Document procedures, complete all required records, and maintain patient confidentiality
• Assist with emergency procedures if needed during overnight hours
• Collaborate closely with medical staff to provide thorough, patient-centered care
