CT Technologist in Calais, ME

Advance your clinical expertise in a dynamic environment by providing specialized imaging services as a CT/PET Technologist on a contract basis. This position focuses on delivering high-quality care while utilizing your knowledge in both CT and PET imaging to support patient diagnosis and treatment.

Schedule:

• Day shift with variable hours

Key Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in CT and PET imaging procedures
• Certified in Radiologic Technology with current registration as required
• Current COVID-19 vaccination
• Strong understanding of imaging safety protocols
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team

Main Responsibilities:

• Operate CT and PET imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety
• Accurately position patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and awareness
• Monitor and document patient condition before, during, and after imaging procedures
• Maintain strict infection control standards in compliance with facility policy
• Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to deliver precise and timely results
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions for timely resolution
