CT Tech CT Technologist in Cambridge, MA

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as a CT Technologist through ARRT or equivalent
• Demonstrated expertise in CT imaging, including operation of advanced CT scanners
• Valid state licensure (as required)
• Minimum of one year of recent CT experience strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
• Ability to accurately position patients and ensure safety protocols are followed

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment to perform diagnostic scans as ordered by physicians
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain processes, and address concerns with professionalism and empathy
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to ensure accurate results
• Maintain patient records and document procedures in accordance with facility policies
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety guidelines
• Manage routine maintenance and quality control checks of imaging equipment
