Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active ARRT (CT) certification and state licensure required
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CT imaging protocols and safety standards
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
  • Attention to detail in reviewing physician orders, preparing patients, and ensuring image quality
  • Proficiency in using PACS and EMR systems

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and complex CT imaging procedures according to physician orders
  • Accurately position patients and operate CT equipment, ensuring patient comfort and safety
  • Review patient histories and explain procedures, addressing questions and concerns
  • Safeguard adherence to all radiation safety and infection control guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists for image assessment and timely reporting
  • Document all procedures and maintain accurate patient records
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and implement appropriate protocols
