Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active ARRT (CT) certification and state licensure required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Comprehensive knowledge of CT imaging protocols and safety standards
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
- Attention to detail in reviewing physician orders, preparing patients, and ensuring image quality
- Proficiency in using PACS and EMR systems
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and complex CT imaging procedures according to physician orders
- Accurately position patients and operate CT equipment, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Review patient histories and explain procedures, addressing questions and concerns
- Safeguard adherence to all radiation safety and infection control guidelines
- Work collaboratively with radiologists for image assessment and timely reporting
- Document all procedures and maintain accurate patient records
