CT Tech CT Technologist in Cambridge, MA

An experienced CT Technologist is needed in a high-acuity environment at a busy Level 1 trauma and stroke medical center. You’ll join a well-organized imaging department utilizing GE and Siemens scanners, supported by a two-tech model with 5 to 7 technologists staffed during overnight shifts. This contract position offers a consistent weekend schedule with opportunities to work alongside a collaborative and experienced team.

Schedule:

• Saturday/Sunday/Monday
• 36 hours per week (overnight shifts)

Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification and registration as a CT Technologist
• Demonstrated expertise operating GE and Siemens CT imaging equipment
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma or high-volume acute care setting is strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of imaging protocols and patient safety procedures
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate documentation
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, team-based environments

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures for trauma, stroke, and general diagnostic needs
• Operate and maintain GE and Siemens CT scanners according to established protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver optimal patient care
• Monitor patient condition during scans, ensuring safety and accurate imaging
• Manage patient flow, maintain organized workspaces, and assist in onboarding new staff or technologists as needed

$2,783 - $2,944/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
