CT Technologist - Canonsburg, Pennsylvania

A skilled Imaging professional with experience in CT and CT/PET technology is needed for a contract opportunity. This position involves providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a clinical environment, working alongside healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

Qualifications:

• Credentialed in Radiologic Technology with current registry (ARRT or equivalent)
• Advanced certification or documented training in CT and PET imaging techniques
• Previous experience specifically as a CT and/or CT/PET Technologist
• Familiarity with standard protocols, safety procedures, and quality control
• Strong patient interaction and communication skills
• Ability to effectively operate imaging equipment and troubleshoot minor issues
• Current BLS certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT and PET/CT scans as ordered, providing images of the highest diagnostic quality
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and ensuring comfort and safety
• Document patient histories and maintain accurate imaging records
• Use critical thinking to identify and respond to unexpected findings or complications
• Follow established radiology protocols and ensure all regulatory requirements are met
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging equipment and exam rooms
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams on patient schedules, image review, and workflow efficiency

$2,366 - $2,502/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
