CT Tech CT Tech in Capitan, NM

Seeking an experienced CT and X-ray technologist to support diagnostic imaging services. This contract position requires strong proficiency in CT imaging, with the flexibility to assist with standard X-ray procedures as needed. You’ll play a key role in patient care, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic results.

Schedule:

• 3x12 hour shifts
• Day shift coverage
• Thursday, Friday, Saturday each week

Qualifications:

• Certification as a CT technologist (ARRT CT preferred)
• Demonstrated competence in both CT and X-ray imaging techniques
• State licensure (or eligibility) as required for radiologic technologists
• Previous hospital or clinical imaging experience preferred
• Attention to detail, with a commitment to safety and quality assurance protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT and X-ray equipment to perform diagnostic procedures according to physician orders
• Prepare patients for imaging exams, explaining processes and ensuring comfort
• Accurately position patients and select appropriate technical factors
• Monitor and maintain imaging equipment, following all safety guidelines
• Assist with image processing, quality control, and timely delivery of results to physicians
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with privacy regulations
• Foster a collaborative, patient-centered environment
