Advance your career in medical imaging with a contract opportunity specializing in CT within a comprehensive healthcare setting. This position offers involvement in a Joint Commission Accredited Primary Stroke Center, providing a dynamic environment in a well-equipped, multidisciplinary hospital. You will collaborate with specialists in cardiology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, general surgery, and more, supporting a broad spectrum of patient care.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time hours typical of a hospital imaging department
  • Rotating shifts may be required, including weekends and holidays

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
  • Minimum of one year of recent, relevant experience in hospital CT imaging
  • Current ARRT (CT) credential or equivalent recognized certification
  • Competency in all CT procedures, safety protocols, and advanced image processing
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  • BLS certification required

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT imaging studies in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort prior to, during, and following imaging
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot CT imaging equipment
  • Accurately complete documentation and maintain patient records
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal imaging outcomes
  • Uphold safety and infection control standards at all times
