Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification in Computed Tomography (CT) and PET imaging
  • ARRT or NMTCB certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a similar clinical Imaging role
  • Proficiency operating advanced CT and PET/CT scanners and related imaging equipment
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and cross-sectional anatomy
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both patients and members of the medical team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate image acquisition
  • BLS certification preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Perform efficient, high-quality CT and CT/PET scans according to physician orders and clinical protocols
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining processes, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort and safety throughout imaging sessions
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal diagnostic results
  • Accurately document and submit imaging results into electronic medical records systems
  • Maintain imaging equipment, monitor for proper functionality, and report issues as needed
  • Follow regulatory guidelines for patient privacy, equipment use, and image handling
