Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT-CT required)
• Previous experience working in a hospital or clinical imaging environment
• Proficiency with CT equipment, protocols, and safety standards
• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and patient positioning
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment to acquire accurate diagnostic images in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process
• Monitor and document patient information, procedure details, and imaging results
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver precise diagnostic outcomes
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, reporting malfunctions promptly
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and infection control procedures at all times
• Provide empathetic patient care and educate patients about their procedures
