Qualifications:

• Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
• Valid state license (or eligibility)
• Demonstrated experience with diagnostic imaging, including CT scanning
• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting imaging equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
• Excellent patient communication and compassion
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred

Responsibilities:

• Conduct a variety of CT imaging procedures as ordered by physicians, adhering to clinical protocols and safety standards
• Prepare patients for scans, explain procedures, and address questions or concerns to ensure a comfortable experience
• Accurately position patients and operate CT equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
• Review images for clarity, completeness, and diagnostic usefulness, notifying radiologists of significant findings
• Maintain detailed records and complete necessary documentation
• Monitor and manage equipment, performing basic maintenance and reporting any technical concerns
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated patient care
• Adhere strictly to all infection control and radiation safety regulations
