Position: Travel CT Technologist (Freestanding ER)

Location: Charleston, SC

Term: 13-Week Contract

Seeking a highly proficient and professional Travel CT Technologist for an immediate assignment at a high-volume, freestanding emergency department in Charleston, South Carolina. This specialized role demands rapid clinical decision-making, technical independence, and the ability to deliver emergency-room diagnostics under minimal supervision.

Schedule
Shift: Monday through Thursday | 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Hours: Four 10-hour night shifts (40 hours/week)

Commitment: Continuous night coverage with no weekend rotation.

Key Responsibilities
Execute time-sensitive diagnostic computed tomography scans for emergency and trauma patients.

Operate and troubleshoot facility-specific Siemens advanced multi-slice imaging equipment efficiently.

Manage patient positioning, precise contrast media administration, and seamless RIS/PACS data entry.

Maintain strict adherence to ALARA radiation safety guidelines within an emergency clinical workflow.

Candidate Requirements
Certification: Active ARRT registry required.

Licensure: Valid South Carolina state radiologic technologist license (SCRQSA) must be active at the time of submission.

Technical Experience: Documented, hands-on proficiency operating Siemens CT systems is mandatory.

Credentials: Current BLS (AHA) certification.

Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of recent acute care or emergency room CT experience.
