CT Technologist - Charlotte, North Carolina

A CT Technologist opportunity is available on a 12-hour night shift schedule in the Charlotte, NC area. This contract role offers the chance to work with advanced imaging technology in a fast-paced environment supporting ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient populations. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of CT experience, a strong background in GE CT systems, and certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years CT technologist experience; first-time travelers considered
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Current BLS certification
• Proven expertise with GE Revolution Apex CT scanner and Bayer MedRad contrast injector
• Ability to manage routine and STAT CT exams, prioritize based on patient acuity including Code Strokes
• Familiarity with EMR systems, preferably EPIC and Epic Radiant RIS, Philips iSite PACS

Location: Based near Charlotte, NC, this role is situated at a community-focused medical center offering a range of diagnostic imaging services but is not a trauma or teaching hospital. Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and CT/PET imaging studies for diverse patient groups
• Coordinate and prioritize imaging exams to meet clinical urgency

• Utilize PACS and RIS systems for imaging documentation and communication

Schedule:

• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Workdays: Friday, Saturday, Sunday (36 hours per week)
• Holiday shifts will fall within scheduled workdays; weekends required
