Take on a rewarding opportunity supporting patient care in diagnostic imaging as a skilled CT Technologist. This contract position calls for expertise in advanced imaging, specifically working with CT modalities. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team and help deliver quality diagnostic services in a dynamic environment.

Schedule:

  • 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
  • Days to be determined and coordinated in advance with the SouthPark shift
  • No on-call or call-back requirements
  • No floating between departments
  • Expected to work 75% of assigned holidays

Key Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in CT imaging, including setup, scanning, and imaging protocols
  • Valid certification or registry as a CT Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
  • Experience following safety standards related to radiation and contrast materials
  • Strong interpersonal and patient care skills
  • Ability to adapt to department workflow and collaborate with radiology professionals

Role Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety
  • Prepare, position, and assist patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and compliance with protocols
  • Operate and calibrate CT imaging equipment; troubleshoot as needed
  • Accurately document procedures and maintain up-to-date patient records
  • Follow department procedures related to infection control, equipment sterilization, and quality assurance
  • Remain up to date with continuing education and advancements in diagnostic imaging
