Advance your career in medical imaging as an experienced CT Technologist supporting a dynamic hospital radiology department. This contract opportunity places you at the forefront of diagnostic care, working with cutting-edge technology and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The hospital, with a total of 373 licensed beds and a robust ED, ICU, and procedural environment, sees a high patient volume and provides services accredited by The Joint Commission for stroke care.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Flexible contract assignment
  • Department orientation: 2 days to 1 week, weekdays may be necessary even for weekend shifts

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of CT experience
  • ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology, with advanced registry in CT
  • Current BLS certification
  • Experience starting peripheral IVs and performing multiphase scanning, including venous/arterial phases and stroke imaging (perfusion)
  • Strong command of CT-guided invasive procedures and cardiac imaging (day shift)
  • Familiarity with colorectal studies; knowledge of TeraRecon is a plus
  • Will consider first-time travelers

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a range of CT procedures for ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient settings
  • Operate state-of-the-art equipment including Siemens CT scanners and Bayer/Medrad power injectors
  • Document findings and workflow in EPIC EMR, Radiant RIS, and Philips iSite PACS
  • Support successful departmental workflow with 160 studies on weekdays, 120 on weekends
  • Adhere to department protocols and collaborate with radiology nursing and guest services for optimal patient care
  • Floating within the department is not required
