Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current registration with ARRT (Computed Tomography certification required)
  • Valid state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Minimum of one year of recent CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting CT imaging equipment
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, radiographic positioning, and patient safety procedures
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT scans as ordered by physicians, adhering to established protocols
  • Assess and prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and answering questions to ensure patient comfort and cooperation
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging findings as needed
  • Ensure proper operation, calibration, and cleanliness of CT equipment
  • Adhere to all radiation safety and infection control standards
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to achieve optimal imaging results
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions throughout procedures and report any issues promptly
