CT Technologist | Charlotte, North Carolina

Advance your clinical imaging career by contributing specialized expertise in CT and PET/CT procedures at a busy healthcare facility. This contract position calls for a highly skilled technologist passionate about delivering excellence in patient care within an advanced imaging environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• No on-call or call back required
• Holiday coverage required if a holiday falls on a scheduled shift
• No weekend or floating requirements

Qualifications:

• Certification and experience operating both CT and PET/CT equipment
• Demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of CT imaging, including image acquisition, protocol management, and safety procedures
• Strong understanding of patient positioning and comfort techniques for high-quality images
• Appropriate state and national credentials for CT technology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Adaptability to fast-paced, dynamic healthcare settings
• Commitment to patient safety and confidentiality

Responsibilities:

• Independently perform diagnostic CT and PET/CT scans with meticulous attention to image quality
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure optimal imaging outcomes
• Accurately document procedures and patient interactions in the electronic health record
• Prepare patients by explaining procedures, answering questions, and monitoring for safety throughout the exam
• Maintain equipment and report technical issues promptly
• Comply with all regulations, guidelines, and safety standards for imaging and radiation exposure
• Contribute to a positive patient experience through compassionate, timely care

$2,451 - $2,584/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
