CT Technologist - Cicero, Illinois

Schedule:

• 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM shifts
• Every third weekend included

Key Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
• Strong experience operating CT imaging equipment in a healthcare setting
• Deep understanding of safety protocols and radiological procedures
• Excellent attention to detail in capturing images and maintaining accurate records
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with physicians and nursing staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans following physician orders and departmental protocols
• Ensure clarity and accuracy in all images for diagnostic purposes
• Practice stringent safety standards for both patients and staff
• Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout the imaging process
• Manage workflow to efficiently balance scheduled exams and urgent requests
• Properly maintain CT equipment, reporting any issues as needed
• Accurately input patient data and record imaging results in the appropriate electronic systems
