CT Tech CT Technologist | Clifton Park, New York

Step into a vital imaging role supporting emergency care as a CT technologist for a 13-week contract. This position focuses on delivering high-quality CT scans to ER patients by leveraging your experience and technical skills in a supportive hospital setting.

Schedule/Hours:

• 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
• Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday

Key Qualifications:

• Current ARRT(CT) certification
• Active BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of independent CT scanning experience
• Demonstrated ability to perform all standard ER CT exams except for specialty studies (for example, virtual colonoscopies and cardiac CT)
• Experience with Siemens Definition AS scanner
• Familiarity with Epic EMR and Visage PACS systems
• Comfortable working solo during overnight hours (10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.), with assistance from an imaging aide for patient movement and transport

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide variety of high-quality CT scans for emergency department patients in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure precise imaging following physician protocols and facility standards
• Verify patient identification, assess clinical history, and explain procedures to patients when needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and utilize Epic EMR for patient records
• Collaborate with care teams to prioritize urgent imaging requests
• Operate and monitor Siemens Definition AS CT scanner and Visage PACS for image processing and data handling
• Maintain safety standards and comply with all regulatory and infection control protocols

$2,683 - $2,829/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
