  • Flexible travel assignment

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Registered in Imaging – CT; PET/CT experience required
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computerized tomography scanning procedures
  • Experience with contrast media preparation and injection
  • Strong understanding of patient safety protocols and radiation regulations
  • Ability to assist in emergency medical situations and perform basic CPR
  • Detail-oriented regarding documentation and image record maintenance
  • Effective communication with patients and healthcare staff
  • Willingness to instruct and mentor new personnel as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and monitor CT/PET imaging equipment for diagnostic procedures
  • Position and transfer patients safely, applying immobilization devices as necessary
  • Obtain patient history and identify allergies or contraindications
  • Prepare, inject, and monitor contrast media per protocol
  • Perform daily calibration and quality control of imaging equipment
  • Maintain image quality and electronic record storage
  • Provide immediate intervention for any allergic responses or emergencies
  • Maintain a clean, well-stocked work environment
  • Assist physicians with specialized procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Remain compliant with required registry and regulatory standards
