CT Tech CT Technologist | Cohoes, New York

Step into a pivotal imaging role providing advanced CT diagnostic services on a 13-week contract. This position specializes in supporting emergency department care through expert use of a Siemens Definition AS CT scanner, delivering critical scans for patients during overnight shifts.

Schedule:

• 6pm–7am, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years' recent experience as an independent CT Technologist
• Current BLS certification required
• ARRT(CT) credential mandatory
• Ability to efficiently perform all ER-related CT scans, excluding specialized studies such as virtual colonoscopy and cardiac CTs
• Comfortable working independently, particularly during midnight hours with imaging aide support for patient transport and positioning
• Proficiency with Siemens Definition AS CT scanners strongly preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR and Visage PACS is highly desirable

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct CT scans for emergency department patients, ensuring high-quality images and accurate results
• Work autonomously during the midnight shift, collaborating closely with an imaging aide to maintain workflow
• Adhere strictly to imaging department protocols and safety standards
• Respond promptly to urgent and STAT scan requests with efficiency and precision
• Accurately document information in Epic and archive images using Visage PACS
• Maintain thorough communication with healthcare providers and patient care teams

$2,683 - $2,829/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
