CT Technologist - Colorado Springs, Colorado

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid ARRT (CT) certification and state licensure as required
• Demonstrated proficiency in operating CT imaging equipment
• Recent clinical experience performing CT scans in a healthcare environment
• Strong understanding of patient safety protocols, including radiation safety
• Competency in producing high-quality diagnostic images
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct CT scans according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes in a reassuring manner
• Monitor patient well-being before, during, and after examinations
• Review images for clarity and completeness, collaborating with radiologists for interpretation
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
• Assist with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of imaging equipment
• Adhere to all safety and infection control policies
