A healthcare facility in Concord, NC, is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join their imaging team on a contract basis. This role focuses on performing CT and CT/PET imaging studies in a fast-paced environment, utilizing advanced equipment to support patient care. The position offers a specialized night shift schedule, perfect for professionals looking to contribute during these hours.

Schedule:

  • 12-hour Night Shift (1900 - 0730)
  • Workdays: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
  • Includes holiday work as scheduled

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine and STAT CT exams for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patients with proficiency in GE CT equipment.
  • Coordinate and prioritize examinations by acuity, including emergency code strokes.
  • Perform post-processing of exams as necessary.
  • Utilize EMR systems including Epic, Epic Radiant, and Philips iSite PACS.
  • Adhere to departmental policies and attend administrative and unit-specific orientation and training.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of CT technology experience; first-time travelers are considered.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Proven ability to manage workflows efficiently in a busy imaging department.
