Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification and registration as a CT Technologist (ARRT CT or equivalent)
• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain
• Solid understanding of CT imaging procedures, patient positioning, and safety protocols
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in acute care or hospital environments
• Comfort working with various CT equipment and PACS systems
• Stellar attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment to capture precise images based on physician orders
• Prepare patients for procedures, clearly explaining steps and ensuring their comfort and safety
• Adhere to strict imaging and radiation safety policies and protocols at all times
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other technicians to ensure seamless diagnostic workflows
• Accurately document procedures and maintain up-to-date patient records in the electronic system
• Maintain imaging equipment and troubleshoot minor technical issues
• Assist with routine departmental quality control and maintenance tasks
• Remain current with continuing education and evolving best practices in CT imaging
