This contract role offers the opportunity to work in a dedicated imaging department, supporting patient care alongside skilled healthcare professionals.

Schedule and Hours:

  • 10-hour night shift, 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Thursday, 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM
  • No on-call or call-back requirements
  • Weekend rotation will be discussed during the interview
  • Holiday coverage: travelers will work 75% of holidays
  • No floating to other departments

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT CT required)
  • Experience operating CT imaging equipment in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Proficiency with imaging protocols, radiation safety, and patient positioning
  • Strong communication skills and professionalism in a team environment
  • Current BLS certification
  • Ability to adapt to 10-hour night shifts consistently

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain CT imaging systems to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes for comfort and compliance
  • Ensure adherence to proper radiation protection standards for patients and staff
  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses for diagnostic accuracy and patient care
  • Perform quality control checks and assist with maintaining equipment
  • Document procedures, patient data, and imaging results accurately in electronic medical records
