CT Technologist in Concord, NC

Schedule:

• 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday
• 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, for a consistent 40-hour work week
• No on-call, call-back, weekend, or floating requirements
• If a holiday falls on your regular work day, you will be scheduled to work

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT (CT) certification or equivalent
• Experience operating CT and PET/CT scanners in a clinical or hospital setting
• Knowledge of safety protocols for radiation and infection control
• Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
• Ability to follow physician orders and imaging protocols accurately
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Reliable, punctual, and able to thrive in a fast-paced imaging department

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and PET/CT imaging studies, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure
• Verify exam indications, histories, and ensure all imaging protocols are met
• Accurately document exams and maintain proper patient records within the imaging system
• Prepare and administer contrast as ordered, utilizing appropriate safety precautions
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Provide clear instructions and compassionate support to patients before, during, and after imaging procedures
