CT Technologist in Coquille, OR

Seeking a skilled professional specializing in Imaging, with expertise in CT and CT/PET technology, to contribute to exceptional patient care while utilizing advanced imaging systems. This contract opportunity requires adaptability and a proactive approach in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• 8-hour day shifts, plus 3-5 variable nights per week

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Current ARRT(CT) certification and active BLS credential
• Proficiency with Toshiba Acquillion 128 slice CT scanner
• Experience using EPIC EMR and Philips PACS systems
• Can proceed with Oregon licensure application upon offer/acceptance
• Previous trauma imaging experience strongly preferred
• Solid skill set in both CT and PET imaging modalities

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate advanced CT and PET imaging equipment to perform high-quality diagnostic studies
• Accurately document patient information, procedures, and imaging results utilizing EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with the clinical and radiology teams to ensure safety and best practices in trauma and routine imaging scenarios
• Prepare and position patients for imaging based on physician orders and clinical indications
• Maintain clean working environment and comply with infection prevention protocols
• Continuously monitor equipment and troubleshoot technical issues as needed
• Provide compassionate, clear communication to patients and colleagues

$2,318 - $2,521/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
