Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CT and CT/PET scanners to produce diagnostic-quality images in accordance with physician protocols.
• Prepare patients for procedures, addressing their questions and ensuring their comfort throughout.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues.
• Accurately input patient data and imaging results into the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other allied health staff for seamless patient care.
• Uphold radiation safety procedures and follow appropriate infection control measures.
• Monitor patients during imaging, responding quickly to any changes or concerns.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Current certification/licensure, such as ARRT (CT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (CNMT), as required.
• Proven experience operating both CT and PET/CT equipment in a healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-first mindset.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities or schedules.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all regulatory and compliance standards.
