Step into a high-impact role dedicated to delivering exceptional imaging services as a CT/PET Technologist. Collaborate within a dynamic facility featuring a specialized imaging department equipped with GE Revolution Apex and Bayer MedRad dual-head contrast injector technology. This contract opportunity provides the chance to support patients across emergency, inpatient, observation, and outpatient settings.
Schedule:
- 12-hour shifts: Friday, Saturday, Sunday (0700–1930)
- 36 hours per week, day shifts
- No on-call or floating requirements
- All holidays that fall on this schedule are worked
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of two years' recent experience in CT imaging
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (R)(CT) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Proficiency with GE CT systems is essential
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, prioritize exams by acuity, and conduct both routine and STAT CTs, including Code Strokes and post-processing
- Familiarity with EMR (Epic), RIS (Epic Radiant), and PACS (Philips iSite) systems
- Open to first-time travelers who meet experience requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT and PET imaging studies for a diverse patient population
- Coordinate with healthcare teams to optimize workflow and ensure timely, accurate results
- Support a department that averages 30 studies on weekdays and 14 on weekends, with outpatients scheduled for weekend imaging
- Maintain adherence to safety and quality protocols and provide excellent patient care
