CT Technologist in Cornelius, NC

Schedule:

• 10-hour day shifts
• Work Monday through Thursday, 6:30am–5:00pm
• 40 hours per week
• No on-call duties, weekend rotation, or floating required
• Holidays worked if they fall on scheduled shifts

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in both CT and PET/CT imaging techniques, with proven experience in clinical environments
• Valid ARRT (CT) certification or equivalent state licensure
• Solid understanding of current equipment, radiation safety standards, and patient positioning
• Attention to detail in producing high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation
• Strong communication skills for patient interaction and working in a team-oriented setting
• Ability to adapt to new protocols and prioritize patient care effectively

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of CT and PET/CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process
• Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and cleanliness
• Accurately document all patient information and scan results within electronic medical records
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure diagnostic accuracy
• Maintain strict adherence to safety standards, including infection control and radiation guidelines
