An exciting opportunity is open for an experienced CT / PET Technologist skilled in advanced imaging modalities. This contract assignment is designed for a candidate who is ready to start as soon as possible. The technologist will primarily support emergency room imaging and collaborate as an essential member of the clinical team.

Schedule:

  • Three 12-hour night shifts per week (3pm–3:30am)
  • Rotating schedule:
    • Week 1: Sunday, Thursday, Friday
    • Week 2: Monday, Friday, Saturday
  • Weekend and night shifts required
  • No on-call expectations; 40 hours per week

Role Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT and PET equipment, including Siemens Definition AS+ and GE VCT 64 Slice scanners
  • Provide high-quality imaging for emergency room patients
  • Follow protocols for safe, effective contrast injections using Medrad injectors
  • Accurately document and manage patient information utilizing EPIC and GE PACS
  • Adhere strictly to safety standards and infection prevention protocols
  • Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment as needed
  • Consistently uphold the hospital’s dress code policy

Qualifications:

  • Active RI state license as a CT technologist (or eligibility to obtain within 3–4 weeks)
  • Registry credentials: ARRT RT(R)(CT) required
  • BLS certification required
  • Proven experience in advanced CT/PET imaging, preferably in an emergency setting
  • Familiarity with EPIC and GE PACS strongly preferred
  • COVID-19 and flu vaccination required; medical declination accepted for booster only
