A dynamic opportunity is now available for an experienced Imaging Professional specializing in CT and/or PET Technology. Work in a fast-paced emergency room environment and make a direct impact on patient care, utilizing advanced technology and collaborating with a skilled clinical team.
Schedule/Hours:
- Three 12-hour night shifts per week (3pm–3:30am)
- Rotating schedule:
- Week 1: Sunday, Thursday, Friday
- Week 2: Monday, Friday, Saturday
- Expected 40 hours per week
- 13-week contract assignment
- No on-call responsibilities
- Weekend and night shifts required
Qualifications:
- Current RT(R)(CT) certification required
- Rhode Island state license required
- BLS certification required
- Prior experience with Siemens Definition AS+ and GE VCT 64 Slice preferred
- Proficiency with Medrad injectors and GE PACS is a plus
- EPIC EMR experience is an advantage
- COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical declination accepted for booster only)
- Adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in emergency and trauma scenarios
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT and PET imaging studies for emergency room patients
- Follow physician orders and established protocols with attention to accuracy and patient safety
- Operate advanced imaging equipment with proficiency
- Document procedures using hospital EMR and PACS systems
- Maintain patient comfort and communicate processes clearly
- Adhere to all hospital policies, including dress code (scrubs required; hooded sweatshirts prohibited)
