Specializing in Computerized Tomographic (CT) procedures, this contract opportunity is ideal for professionals who excel in advanced imaging and are committed to delivering outstanding patient care. The role involves a combination of CT scanning and, when needed, general diagnostic radiology duties under general supervision.

Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CT Technologist or in CT Imaging.
- Credentialed/certified to perform CT procedures and administer intravenous contrast media.
- Thorough knowledge of radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles.
- Ability to prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain examinations clearly.
- Skilled in processing images in PACS and completing tasks accurately in Radiology Information Systems (RIS).
- Comfort and experience assisting Radiologists with sterile, advanced diagnostic procedures, such as biopsies.
- Strong focus on operational excellence and teamwork, demonstrating professionalism, positive communication, and attention to diversity and innovation in care.
Core Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for CT and general diagnostic imaging exams.
- Review requisitions and clinical data; conduct patient medical history interviews as needed.
- Set up procedure rooms, ensure supplies are fully stocked, and maintain a sterile environment as required.
- Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images, adjusting parameters for optimal results.
- Administer and monitor IV contrast media, respond promptly to possible reactions, and provide immediate care if needed.
- Support Radiologists during complex procedures, ensuring all equipment, monitors, and supplies are ready.
- Resolve PACS image exceptions and ensure seamless delivery and documentation of images.
- Complete required documentation in medical records and RIS to support clinical and administrative needs.
- Uphold standards of patient care and customer service in every interaction.
