CT Tech CT Technologist | Dearborn, Michigan

Schedule:

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Block schedule with weekend assignments
• No call responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification in CT
• Active BLS certification
• Minimum of one year experience in a CT Tech role
• Experience with GE, OEC – C-arms, and Carestream Portables preferred
• Strong understanding of radiation protection principles and ALARA techniques
• Proficiency with PACS and RIS systems for imaging workflow
• Excellent communication and patient-engagement skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct CT and general diagnostic radiology exams, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety
• Clearly explain procedures to patients and assess medical history for appropriate exam performance
• Prepare rooms and maintain adequate inventory of supplies and linens
• Set up and operate imaging equipment for accurate diagnostic studies
• Administer intravenous contrast media safely, monitoring for potential reactions and intervening when necessary
• Assist radiologists in complex sterile procedures, including biopsies
• Rigorously document all imaging and patient-related activities in both medical and radiology information systems
• Collaborate with team members, adhering to service excellence standards and fostering a culture of respectful, innovative care
