CT Tech CT Technologist in Dearborn, MI

Deliver essential patient care and diagnostic excellence as a CT Technologist, providing advanced imaging services in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a key member of the medical imaging team, you will operate cutting-edge CT equipment and collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification or registry as a CT Technologist (ARRT, or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience performing CT imaging studies in a clinical or hospital setting
• Proficiency with modern CT scanning equipment and Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS)
• Strong knowledge of patient safety procedures, radiation protection, and contrast protocols
• BLS certification
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide care with empathy and professionalism

Responsibilities:

• Conduct a variety of CT scans according to physician orders and clinical protocols
• Position patients accurately to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring comfort and safety
• Prepare and administer contrast media as necessary, while monitoring for potential adverse reactions
• Review and verify imaging requisitions, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of CT systems and the imaging suite
• Provide clear instructions to patients throughout the procedure, answering questions and addressing concerns
• Document and enter patient information and scan data into the electronic medical record system
• Collaborate with radiologists and the broader care team, effectively communicating imaging findings

$2,424 - $2,564/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
