Responsibilities include:
- Operate CT imaging equipment following established protocols to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prepare and position patients appropriately for CT procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, radiologists, and other team members to ensure optimal imaging and patient care.
- Accurately document patient history and maintain records in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
- Adhere to radiation safety policies and infection control procedures at all times.
- Monitor and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring functionality and reporting any malfunctions promptly.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information.
Qualifications sought:
- Completion of a recognized radiologic technologist program with CT certification or advanced training.
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT.
- Valid state licensure as required.
- Previous experience operating CT scanners in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Strong patient care and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of applicable radiation safety standards.
