Key Qualifications:

  • ARRT (CT) certification or equivalent required
  • Proven experience operating CT and PET/CT equipment
  • Proficient in patient positioning, imaging protocols, and radiation safety standards
  • Strong communication skills with patients, physicians, and fellow staff
  • Ability to troubleshoot imaging software and hardware issues
  • Commitment to compassionate care and patient comfort
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and PACS

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT and PET/CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols
  • Ensure accurate image acquisition and patient identification
  • Prepare patients for procedures, verifying medical history and explaining processes
  • Adhere strictly to infection control and safety guidelines
  • Monitor equipment for optimal operation and report maintenance needs
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to facilitate timely workflow
  • Maintain thorough documentation of procedures and imaging results
