CT Technologist - Des Plaines, Illinois

Schedule/Hours:

• 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• Includes every third weekend

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT-CT certification required
• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT protocols
• Experience operating advanced CT imaging equipment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare personnel
• Commitment to quality assurance and adherence to safety standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT scans, ensuring precision in image acquisition and patient positioning
• Review physician instructions and follow appropriate scanning protocols for each patient
• Prepare and administer contrast media as required, monitoring for potential reactions
• Maintain accurate imaging records in accordance with regulatory and facility policies
• Support a positive patient experience through compassionate care and effective communication
• Collaborate with radiologists and other clinicians to optimize diagnostic outcomes
