Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification or licensure as a CT Technologist
• Strong background in imaging, specifically CT procedures
• Experience in operating advanced CT equipment and performing diagnostic scans
• Comprehensive understanding of safety protocols regarding radiation and patient positioning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure accurate information exchange with patients and colleagues
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and complex CT scans based on physician orders, ensuring clear, high-quality images
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain exam protocols, and answer any questions to ensure comfort and cooperation
• Verify patient identification and medical history prior to imaging
• Maintain and calibrate CT imaging equipment according to established standards
• Collaborate with radiologists and other clinicians to review images and support diagnostic accuracy
• Adhere strictly to infection control, safety, and privacy regulations within the imaging department
• Accurately document procedures, observations, and patient information in electronic medical records
