Step into a vital patient care role specializing in CT imaging, utilizing advanced radiology equipment to deliver high-quality diagnostic services. This contract opportunity offers hands-on work with GE, OEC C-arms, and Carestream Portables to support accurate and effective patient treatment plans.

Schedule:

  • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Every other weekend required
  • Block scheduling available
  • No on-call responsibilities

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid BLS certification
  • ARRT (CT) certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience
  • Familiarity with GE and OEC C-arm systems, plus Carestream Portables
  • Ability to work overnight shifts and support weekend coverage

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct computerized tomographic and, at times, general diagnostic radiology procedures under general supervision
  • Clearly communicate examination procedures and prepare patients for imaging studies
  • Obtain relevant patient clinical data and adapt studies as required
  • Set up and prepare procedure rooms, stock linens, and monitor supplies
  • Operate CT imaging equipment, adjusting controls for optimal diagnostic quality
  • Administer intravenous contrast media using power injectors and monitor for patient reactions
  • Support complex sterile procedures and assist radiologists, following all safety protocols
  • Apply radiation protection measures and ALARA techniques during all procedures
  • Upload and manage images in PACS, resolve exceptions, and ensure image integrity
  • Complete accurate documentation in both the patient medical record and the Radiology Information System (RIS)
  • Demonstrate consistent professionalism, open communication, and respect for diversity in daily interactions
