Deliver expert care and advanced imaging services in this CT/CT-PET Technologist role, focusing on diagnostic excellence and patient safety. This contract position requires an individual who demonstrates flexibility, reliability, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with an experienced team.

Schedule:

  • Night shift: Wednesday–Friday, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT-R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT)
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology; additional CT experience preferred
  • Demonstrated communication and customer service skills in healthcare settings
  • Capacity to prioritize tasks, work effectively under pressure, and multitask
  • Proficient in patient positioning, imaging equipment, and radiation safety protocols
  • Thorough knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and imaging quality standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately perform CT/CT-PET procedures in accordance with clinician orders and departmental guidelines
  • Obtain and review patient history; ensure clinical contraindications are addressed prior to exams
  • Prepare and position patients, maintaining comfort, privacy, and dignity throughout each procedure
  • Administer contrast as required, using sterile techniques and following safety protocols
  • Critically evaluate imaging results for diagnostic quality and communicate findings to appropriate providers
  • Respond rapidly to emergencies; assist with crash cart and life support equipment as needed
  • Educate patients and families on procedures, addressing questions or concerns
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness, calibration, and troubleshoot technical malfunctions promptly
  • Complete required documentation and contribute to quality assurance initiatives
  • Participate in training and orientation of staff; uphold regulatory and Joint Commission standards
