Qualifications:
- Current ARRT (CT) certification required
- Valid state license as a Radiologic Technologist
- Proven experience operating CT imaging equipment
- In-depth understanding of imaging protocols, radiation safety, and patient positioning
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in image capturing
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with patients and staff
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT scans using established protocols and safety standards
- Accurately position patients and operate imaging equipment to ensure optimal results
- Monitor patients throughout imaging procedures and provide clear instructions for comfort and safety
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to deliver timely and accurate imaging reports
- Maintain documentation and patient records as per facility requirements
- Follow all infection control and quality assurance procedures
- Consistently maintain, clean, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure peak performance
- Participate in professional development and ongoing training as needed
