Key Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience performing CT imaging procedures in a healthcare setting
- Valid certification or registry as a CT Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, patient positioning, and radiation safety standards
- Ability to work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and other clinical staff
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Current BLS certification required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct CT scans according to physician orders ensuring quality imaging and patient safety
- Prepare, position, and monitor patients throughout imaging procedures, providing clear explanations and support
- Operate and maintain CT equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly
- Accurately document scan results and patient information within electronic health records
- Maintain compliance with all hospital, state, and federal guidelines for imaging practices
- Assist with workflow efficiency and support fellow team members as needed
