Seeking a skilled and versatile Imaging Technologist with expertise in CT, X-ray, and PET for a full-time contract position. This opportunity requires proficiency across imaging modalities and commitment to high-quality patient care in a dynamic, varied-shift environment. You will play a crucial role in accurately capturing diagnostic images while ensuring the safety and comfort of patients.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Varied shifts, primarily days and mids
  • Typical hours: 3p-11p, 1p-9p, 11a-11p; occasional 9a-9p as needed to meet a minimum of 36 hours per week

Key Qualifications:

  • Current New York State Radiologic Technologist license
  • Valid NY Injection License
  • Certifications: ACLS, PALS, and NRP
  • Demonstrated experience as a CT/Rad Tech, with proficiency in CT, X-ray, and PET imaging
  • Ability to adapt to varied shift times and maintain flexibility
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate patient-centered approach

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic CT, X-ray, and PET imaging exams in compliance with protocols and safety guidelines
  • Prepare, position, and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care
  • Administer contrast agents as permitted by NY Injection License
  • Adhere to all regulatory standards and documentation requirements
  • Maintain equipment and work areas, ensuring proper function and safety
