CT Tech CT Technologist in Durham, NC

A contract opportunity is currently open for an experienced CT Technologist in a complex academic health system. You'll be part of a diverse imaging team delivering care across a busy Level I trauma program, serving both adults and pediatrics within a 1,000-bed hospital. This is an excellent chance to work with advanced imaging technology while handling a robust caseload in cardiac, oncology, trauma, pain management, and interventional radiology.

Schedule:

• Day shift: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.)
• Three 12-hour shifts per week

Key Qualifications:

• ARRT-CT certification is required
• Proficiency in GE, PACS, and Siemens CT imaging platforms (mandatory)
• Previous experience in a high-acuity healthcare environment preferred
• Familiar with both inpatient and outpatient imaging, CT interventions, portable neuro and OR CT, and pediatric/neonatal CT
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic hospital environment with multiple specialized departments
• Must receive a flu vaccine; exemptions or declinations are not accepted

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT scans for a range of patient populations, including trauma, oncology, and pediatrics
• Operate state-of-the-art GE, Siemens, and PACS systems in various locations such as ED, dedicated pediatric units, and outpatient imaging
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and referring physicians to support patient diagnosis and treatment
• Ensure safety protocols and accurate documentation for each procedure
• Participate in a biweekly orientation schedule to ensure readiness for all hospital protocols

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
