An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled technologist proficient in Imaging – CT and CT/PET procedures in a dynamic radiology department. This contract position offers a flexible shift structure and the chance to work within a collaborative and innovative clinical environment.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Day, evening, weekend, or overnight availability required
  • Flexible scheduling with 4-, 8-, or 12-hour shifts
  • 7 days on, 7 days off rotational schedule

Key Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in CT and CT/PET imaging technologies
  • Ability to independently perform general radiology exams, including x-rays, fluoroscopy procedures, portable studies, and operating room imaging
  • Valid certification and current credentials as required for radiologic technologists
  • Thorough understanding of safety protocols and best practices specific to clinical imaging
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient care and staff collaboration
  • Experience in acute hospital or high-volume clinical settings preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT and CT/PET scanners to acquire high-quality images as ordered by clinicians
  • Adapt and adjust protocols for specific clinical indications or patient needs
  • Perform a variety of radiologic exams, including routine and complex imaging techniques
  • Maintain detailed patient records in alignment with healthcare regulations
  • Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures while ensuring their comfort and safety
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to support optimal diagnostic outcomes
  • Uphold rigorous standards for infection control and radiation safety at all times
