Schedule/Hours:
- Five 8-hour shifts per week
- Evening shift
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a CT and PET Technologist
- Proficiency operating Siemens imaging equipment is required
- Certification in CT imaging and PET preferred
- Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, radiological procedures, and safety standards
- Valid ARRT certification and state licensure, as applicable
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and navigate complex cases
Responsibilities:
- Conduct CT and PET scans according to physician orders and established protocols
- Review imaging results to ensure clarity and accuracy before submission for interpretation
- Prioritize patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout all procedures
- Troubleshoot Siemens CT equipment and perform routine quality assurance checks
- Accurately document exam details and maintain patient medical records
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support optimal diagnostic outcomes
- Adhere to departmental policies, quality control procedures, and infection control guidelines
