An excellent opportunity is available for a skilled CT/PET Technologist to provide quality patient imaging on contract assignment. Utilize your expertise in advanced imaging while supporting a busy healthcare environment and making a difference for patients who rely on your technical proficiency and attention to detail.

Schedule:

  • 5x8s evening shifts

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficient with CT and PET imaging modalities
  • Hands-on experience operating Siemens imaging systems
  • Valid and active ARRT (CT) or equivalent certification
  • Minimum of 1-2 years direct experience in CT/PET settings
  • Strong knowledge of radiologic safety protocols and HIPAA compliance
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with medical imaging equipment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT/PET scans as ordered by providers, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging exams using Siemens systems
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other care team members to provide accurate diagnostic results
  • Maintain thorough and accurate patient records, documenting imaging procedures and findings
  • Inspect, clean, and calibrate equipment regularly to ensure optimal functionality
  • Adhere to all facility, state, and federal imaging regulations and radiation safety standards
  • Assist with scheduling and workflow optimization in the imaging department
