Required Qualifications:
- Proficient with CT and PET imaging modalities
- Hands-on experience operating Siemens imaging systems
- Valid and active ARRT (CT) or equivalent certification
- Minimum of 1-2 years direct experience in CT/PET settings
- Strong knowledge of radiologic safety protocols and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with medical imaging equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT/PET scans as ordered by providers, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
- Prepare and position patients for imaging exams using Siemens systems
- Collaborate with radiologists and other care team members to provide accurate diagnostic results
- Maintain thorough and accurate patient records, documenting imaging procedures and findings
- Inspect, clean, and calibrate equipment regularly to ensure optimal functionality
- Adhere to all facility, state, and federal imaging regulations and radiation safety standards
- Assist with scheduling and workflow optimization in the imaging department
