A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced professional to perform advanced CT and CT/PET imaging. This contract position is vital in delivering the highest standards of diagnostic care for patients and will last for 13 weeks.

Schedule:

  • Thursday, Saturday, Sunday: 10:00 am–11:00 pm

Qualifications:

  • Valid New Jersey Radiology License
  • Certification by the ARRT in CT (ARRT(CT))
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Demonstrated competency as a CT or CT/PET Technologist, with hands-on experience operating imaging equipment and processes
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established imaging protocols
  • Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused mindset

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT and CT/PET technology to generate high-quality diagnostic images safely and efficiently
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, clearly explaining the process and ensuring patient comfort at all times
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and proper documentation standards
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical staff to review imaging needs and maintain optimal workflow
  • Maintain equipment, troubleshoot as necessary, and report technical problems to appropriate personnel
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal imaging regulations
