Schedule:

• Night shifts: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 5x8-hour shifts per week
• Every third weekend required
• Holidays as needed
• No on-call
• Flexibility with scheduling

This position empowers you to master advanced CT imaging techniques while developing new skills in a high-acuity environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform complex CT procedures, producing cross-sectional and 3D images for interpretation.
• Obtain and document patients’ clinical history; ensure accuracy and imaging protocol adherence.
• Prepare and review contrast questionnaires and administer contrast media per protocols.
• Communicate with radiologists and referring physicians to verify exam appropriateness.
• Manage insurance authorizations, exam scripts, and scheduling of comparison studies.
• Provide exam copies as needed to patients and physicians.
• Evaluate radiographs for accurate identification and diagnostic value via PACS.
• Prep patients for scanning, utilizing appropriate shielding and immobilization devices.
• Provide clear instructions and explanations; address all patient concerns.
• Perform and manage IV procedures and monitor patients during and after scanning.
• Follow departmental standards for patient care, safety, attendance, and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Previous CAT scan/CT experience required.
• Demonstrated expertise in advanced CT protocols and imaging safety.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs., push/pull 50 lbs., and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and adaptability for diverse patient needs.
