CT Tech CT Technologist in Elizabeth, NJ

This opportunity is tailored for an experienced CT Technologist eager to make an immediate impact on a skilled radiology team. The position runs for a 13-week duration and offers a focused weekend night schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid New Jersey Radiology License required
• Current ARRT(CT) certification and BLS certification mandatory
• Prior experience on GE and Toshiba CT equipment strongly preferred
• Background in a Level II Trauma setting is a plus
• Proven ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images and maintain rigorous safety protocols
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team approach

Primary Duties:

• Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce clear, diagnostically accurate images for physician review
• Prepare patients for CT procedures, thoroughly explaining processes to ensure comfort and consent
• Perform quality control checks and report equipment issues promptly for rapid resolution
• Collaborate closely with physicians and other clinical staff to deliver timely, effective patient care
• Uphold best practices in radiation safety and infection control at all times
• Maintain precise records and contribute to a positive, patient-focused environment
